Today is Seven Sleepers Day, Sauna Day and my birthday. And hottest day this summer! 

After lovely birthday breakfast in our garden we made a trip to the seaside at Pori. First we drove to Riitakallio in Reposaari where we had lunch picnic. Then we visited Reposaari Fortress, which is a coastal defence system built in 1935. It was used in World War II against Soviet aircraft bombing the port of Pori. The Finnish Navy owned the fortress until 1964. The area was restored in the 1990s and it is now open to the public. It consists of two Canet naval guns, dugouts, observation towers and trenches. 

Our last stop was Yyteri Dog Beach. It's 0,5 km long sandy beach where dogs and their owners can swim and enjoy beach life. It was nice to cool off in the sea, because weather was too hot!

We were back home around 21 o'clock, we had barbecue for dinner and then we played Gift Trap. A wonderful day with my family!
