Lee County Courthouse

Once this was the point of a trivia question on an American game show question. It was the only county courthouse actually built in the county proper on a rural route, in between two municipalities as the leaders wanted it to have equal weight between the two towns, Sanford and Jonesboro , North Carolina.

Now the former has swallowed the latter so it's a moot point as the area is all one entity.
