Golden Plover....

making a fuss about something, presumably it's young. It was very wet overnight and there were a few showers early morning, hence this light! I got pretty wet too, but then turned into a lovely, sunny day with good heat not that burning thunderous stuff we've had.
Golden Plovers are real upland birds and I love encountering them. they are very elusive and ,usually, difficult to locate. They have a plaintiff call and seem to throw their voices!
Masses of Bog Asphodel are brightening the bogs at the moment, so put some in the extra.
