A Brief Encounter

An overcast morning turned into a wet afternoon today.  I took the train from Grange over Sands to Carnforth to have a look at the heritage centre and the famous buffet that featured in the film 'Brief Encounter'.  On arrival at Carnforth I could see steam and was just in time to see this class 8 loco pulling a rake of coaches out onto the main line for a steam excursion.
