Flooded river Dee

Now down in Wales for a few days - the last stage of the round-the-UK Christmas trip.

With all the recent rain the River Dee burst its banks as it does most winters. I arrived in time to head out for a short walk up into the hills which gave this view over the floods in the valley. Thankfully I don't think it's flooded any homes.

All the mountain streams and rivers are in flood which is always an impressive sight.

Sorry for the poor quality today. Late out so low-ish light, lots of rain in the air and taken on the little camera means it's a bit off!
