Doug and the Bookcase

While Doug has toiled away in the man shed making the bookcase, I have also toiled quietly worked at The Catlins book and happy to say it is finished, well almost....just need to write in some place names and will research them soon.
Back to the bookcase that will house my photo books.....isn't it looking good, he is a clever chap as he has copied this from a picture on-line.  The structure/frame (whoever may be interested) is made from aluminum, and joined cleverly.  The shelves and frame will be sealed and painted.  There has been lots of intricate cutting/joining/sanding etc.  Many man hours have gone into the drawing up, ordering products, then cutting and constructing.
We did go into the local hardware outlet this morning to choose the appropriate paints for aluminum and woods.
The finished product will be blipped in due course.

All Blacks v South Africa tonight.....a real test.
And still with sport, watched the final stages of the Tour de France this morning, what an incredible ending to this stage.
