Walk on the beach

After breakfast, I persuaded the kids to go for a walk. We went for a walk on the beach and it was lovely to get some fresh air. The sea was very rough and we watched some surfers.
In the afternoon, we drove to Manchester to visit the Hargreaves family. Their friends the Kenworthys came round and we had a quiz. Great fun.
We celebrated the New Year and then went to bed at 2am.
