Anniversary in Ambleside

Our actual 45th anniversary was yesterday but it was so hot and thunderstorms were forecast. So we went today . Much cooler. Strolled through the church yard ( unnerving to read gravestones of people who died younger than me ! Lol ) , then into the park down by the river. I loved the way the light caught the leaves by this lovely old bridge. Nice meal in Fulling Mill..and dog friendly too.
