THURSDAY

A busy day today with three hours in the office, a two-hour meeting, a dash home, a check-up at the dentist, a whizz round the supermarket, a site visit, a drive home and then four hours of work. I started at 7:30 am and finished at 10:00 pm.

The temperature on the car thermometer reached 36°C. Thank goodness for the air conditioning as it was baking whenever I stepped outside.

In and amongst everything else I has a walk down the lane. Half a dozen swallows were lined up on the electric wires and the butterflies were active.
