Fresh air

Happy New Year blippers!!

Was in desperate need of fresh air today but we had promised Lottie a trip to the cinema to see Rise of the Guardians. At least it got us up and out this morning rather than being lazy.

After a quick lunch with the in laws we did finally make it to Newmillerdam - it had started trying to rain and was getting dark by the time we left, took advantage of the lights reflecting in the water here.

Hubby's birthday today so we treated ourselves to an Italian at tea time - now full and a bit tipsy, a good start to the year!

My New Year's resolutions (apart from the usual ones which will be broken in no time) include learning properly how to use the DSLR rather than reverting back to auto all the time, and more me time. Oh - and more inventive inspired shots on here! Probably won't last!
