New friends

We had our lovely friends over for a bbq this evening. I say our, I think everyone has made a new friend - everyone gets on really well with every one else.  The boys had such fun together (our youngest and their youngest spent ages bashing each other with a space hopper, and both thought it was the most hilarious thing ever), the husbands both got on like a house on fire.. And for me, catching up with an old friend was one of those, slipping back into an old friendship as if you saw each other last week.   

I also bought some pink gin - which is very good, I had another glass after they left.  It's a slippery slope!
