From the Slipway

We haven't had the same sort of hot weather that has covered much of the country even though it has been warm. It was a bit different today though, much cooler. 

I went out at about 6 in the evening and went into Teignmouth. The marquee is up for the carnival events. The Bishopsteignton Commitments played in the marquee last year but this year we'll be on the main stage which is in the open air (although it will be well covered above). That one's not been erected yet.

I went down the slipway near The Point and although the tide was fairly low there were some waves making a splash against the lower part of the sea wall.
