Great Northern Trail

Walking along the trail I noticed a new (at least to me) notice regarding the history of the Great Northern Trail.  The Trail is on the site of an old railway line.
This railway was built in 1880's and closed in the 1960's  It is now a cycleway and runs from Cullingworth through to Queensbury, Bradford.  The viaduct is a feature of the trail and is 300 yards long and 120 feet above the valley floor.
It is hoped that further extensions will be made to enable the trail to continue along what was the railway line.
