Minimal exposure

Tomorrow marks the start of the Oban Photographic Club's annual exhibition, in the room above Waterstones in Oban, as before. 

This big difference this year is the serious downturn in members wishing to exhibit, largely as a result of the serious downturn in members of the club. This past year we had 16 members, around half of the membership the year before. I hope we're not going the way of most societies in Oban - disappearing one by one. Only half a dozen members entered prints, so some of us filled the spaces by adding more. I entered 35 prints, whereas I would normally show eight! 

Let's hope a few members of the public drop by in the next two weeks!
