What a difference a day makes

After yesterday's record high and a sticky night, today has been cooler at about 25 degrees; still humid though.  A good swim this morning, back up to full distance again after my holiday, and then undid all the good work by having lunch with friends at Brasserie Blanc.  The bedding plants seem to be the only things thriving in the garden at the moment, and this one is clearly attractive to all the tiny flies that were covering all of the blooms.
