Just a normal Friday...

...and after yesterday's song and dance I'm very glad of it! I had a little trip to town for the usual shopping, and I looked at a few purses, but I couldn't find one I liked at a price I also liked, so that will have to wait until I can have a proper look.

I took this photo of an exotic-looking flower which is the centrepiece of one of the flowerbeds in the Arboretum. It will do for flower Friday! I like the way the striking red flower stands out against the plant's dark foliage!

It is quite a bit cooler today. I'm quite glad it is, the thought of being at work last night in those temperatures was not a happy one! I like the heat, but not when I'm at work.
