Heatwave in the city

Hottest day of the year so far. Feeling quite smug not to be in the office.

We had a delicious breakfast at the Tate Cafe on the Albert Dock and had a fascinating chat with a journalist from Denmark about politics, culture and bacon. 

This afternoon we went to Crosby Beach and checked out the Antony Gormley statues. I didn't realise that all 100 of them are from casts of his own body: art or ego...you decide. Fish and chips by the sea. Obvs.
