A good start

Today's blip is us on a walk in Bradgate park - we left the house at 9am which is good going as we didn't wake up until 8! Henry started getting grumpy after 45 min because he wanted to throw himself out of the sling (he likes hanging backwards so his head is upside down) so we headed back home and then it was naptime.

Once we'd woken up and had lunch we played with the aquadoodle and Henry decided it was more fun to tip the car full of water over the mat instead of using the peppa pig/daddy pig/mummy pig pens to draw on it. We went for another walk around the village just before it got dark - it's been a lovely sunny (if chilly) day today and it was nice to make the most of it!

We got home and made pasta for tea and Henry ate really well and managed to feed himself again. I think he's going to find it tough going back to nursery tomorrow - we've all really enjoyed spending so much time together over Christmas.
