Hunstanton 1 (backblip)

J and I had a short break in Hunstanton. We both needed it!

We checked in at a lovely hotel very near the sea front and immediately went out for a long walk. We reached Heacham and the Norfolk Lavender place, where we treated ourselves to a slice of lavender cake. It’s delicious! On the way back, we were so privileged to witness a seagull having mussels for lunch. He took them in its beak, flew and dropped them to crack their shell. Absolutely marvellous! After totalising 8.5 miles, we really needed a shower and a scrumptious dinner! And then, out again for a fabulous sunset. What a great day!
