Artisan chocolat

I usually host a New Year's Eve party for a few local friends but because of the flood water problems this year I was close to crying off. One of my neighbours who is unaffected by the flooding kindly offered to host it. Well, it's definitely the way to go: I got to give my party without having to tidy the house and they got to have a party without doing the catering and the new year was welcomed in good spirit by those of us hoping for a better year.

I was given some very special chocolates as a present. This is one which, as you can see, is too beautiful to eat. Almost. That was definitely chocolat, not chocolate...
