Last minute crazy idea, Albert hall for a late night prom on a Thursday night.

Bought tickets for 7 quid (!) this morning

Drive to Stanmore picking Neil up from jct 13 en route.

Public service broadcasting doing a special version of race for space with orchestra and choir. And visuals and huge illuminated sputnik coming from the floor and dancing cosmonauts.

Favourite tune Go! was spectacular.

Standing ovation well deserved.

It'll be on iplayer from Friday so worth watching.

On way home now, prob get in past 2am. I'll snooze at work tomorrow.
