We survived the hottest day by doing things indoors and drinking lots of water. I nearly got a headache by the afternoon but a cold flannel on the neck helped avoid it.
Paul suffered alot having to drive into Salford from Rishton and his office has no air con.
I have sent off for some cold towels from Amazon, one being in a portable bottle and they can be used for the gym or caravan holidays. It is 26c now, and there was some rain earlier but just a little.It is still very close and sultry.
Arthur came in glistening with raindrops and miaowing. He then decided to sit on the exercise machine! He is so amusing at times.
Being more owl than lark I am still no where near tired, so I shall watch a bit more of A Lion in Winter. Patrick Stewart stars in it.
