Agia Anna

This wasn't known to me, but today on July 25th there's also a nameday for Saint Anne to celebrate! And yesterday Sweetheart and I were invited for the celebration of a friend ~  the lady in the white blouse here in this blip.

The celebration was held at her parents house, what has a little chapel in its courtyard and there the celebration was started with a service from the priest for St. Anne. And then the day rolled on and on with the celebration with with some 40 invited at the table where a festive dinner was served with pilav and all the other dishes. What a festive day!!
