Heatwave....

What blooming heatwave?!

It’s been cloudy all day with just the odd glimpse of sunshine here and there. Although happy not to have the heat they are having in London, I really would appreciate some sunshine.

Mr C and I just chilled today with lots of reading or checking out the iPad. Dad was bowling in the evening and we took mum up to the north coast for a wander and some fresh air. First a wander at Chapel Porth and then drove up to Wheal Coates. I was looking for some ideas to take part in the silhouette challenge, and then realised it doesn’t start until Friday. We all enjoyed our evening walk.

A few extras and I will add to the wildflower challenge for the wonderful display of heather and gorse. It really did look lovely and the photos don’t really do it justice.
