a quiet night in for us parents last night. not such a bad thing, take away and a dvd.

lots of preparations this morning for a family get together at ours this afternoon. late enough for those with hangovers to be able to make it.
this is alice looking at my phone to distract her will we did chores.

really good to get everyone together. feels like the beginning of a new family tradition (for every odd new year).
