Some David Černý sculptures in Prague

Day 2 in Prague. We started off going up the old radio tower in Zizkov, and taking in the views. There is also a small Jewish cemetery which was peaceful and thought provoking.. and not very touristy.

Later we had booked a walking tour with Jason, an English immigrant, who has lived here for 23 years. He does small tours with no more than 6 people, and we were lucky to have him to ourselves on this occasion. Not that surprising, given the temperature was in the low thirties! It was very interesting and varied, lots of history and architecture, but also some of David Černý's work, pictured. Each one is slightly outrageous, thought provoking and multi layered. Some have moving parts, including the Kafka head, which has around sixty different ways of turning his head!
