Hiding from the heat

Today we decided to go to a lake and relax all day.
We took the S-Bahn to Schlachtensee, which is a small lake surrounded by trees. It was incredible easy to get there as the lake is at the S-Bahn station!
We bought some food then looked for a nice shadowy place to stay. It was over 30 degrees.
The lake is very clean and there are no motors on it. Just rowing boats or stand up paddlers.
We stayed until late, had a picnic there and went swimming a few times. It was beautiful!
We had a radler at the boatshouse  before we walked back to the S-Bahn and stopped for a coffee at the beer garden before we went on the train.

We arrived in the Kiez only after 10 and headed directly to Mokkabar for another drink and some food.

Blipping the view from where we spent all afternoon. It was nice and cool whereas outside the world was burning.
