Shade

We went swimming a bit earlier today so it wasn't quite so scorching cycling back ... but then we had to go out again. Walking to the bank it was a bit like being back in Arizona, scooting from one shady spot to the next, so we quickly took refuge in the Holzwurm beergarden for a leisurely lunch (only cold dishes food on offer, too hot for the cook to cook!).
When we got home there was a two hour window before we were headed out again, just enough time to knock out a zwetschgendatschi from scratch I thought. Normally I'd have no chance but I put the dough out onto the terrace to prove and it was ready in twenty minutes. The result is an Extra. Seems there's a hot spot in the oven but I ate the slightly over-baked bit for supper. Such hardship.
