New Year, New...

... Soup recipe!

After days of cheese, chocolate and other indulgences it's time for vegetables, and what better way to get their goodness than a warming spicy carrot, sweet potato and lentil soup.

This carrot stopped me in my chopping tracks as I was preparing the vegetables. I thought it looked like a person waving at me in amongst the peelings and I grew rather fond of him. (Although that fondness lasted all of about four minutes before he too met his fate in the soup pot.)
