New Years Day Wonder Walk

My friend Julie stayed over for NYE, we managed to stay up and open a bottle of champagne. This morning Victor helped cook bacon & egg muffins, and before we went for a walk we discovered we'd left some of the champers! I know!!! As it was flat we used it for the stock in today's casserole, the most decadent hotpot I've ever made!

Lovely winter walk across the fields to Queniborough, a quick drink in The Horse & Groom and a longer drink in the Britannia Inn, then Victor had a long chat to the Neighs on the way home. He decided then he was a horse and started eating grass and bushes on the way back clipity-clop clipity clop...
