Roasting Tin
Busy but inspiring (and very hot) day in London.
Boarded at Gatwick for a 9pm flight home. 34C out, aircon not working on plane. Sat for an hour (with temperature steadily rising) waiting for an engineer to fix it. I am informed the cabin temperature was 39.5C when we finally got moving, and it didn't fall much during the flight. Getting off in Edinburgh was a relief, although I felt just about ready to be served with some roast spuds, peas and gravy...
