My Commute

I thought I'd try another Wide Weds challenge, this week BobsBlips' theme is "Commuting", so I had this idea to capture my own commute to work, now that I can cycle through the countryside to get to the new office. I found a good spot, set the camera on a fence post and put it on a 10 second timer, then went back and timed my cycling to pass the gap in the leaves when the shutter went off. That was fun! :-)

I have to say that I'm loving my new commute! Beats sitting in bumper-to-bumper queue of traffic inching its way into Cambridge in the morning every day. Also, note the lack of dress-code! :-) It's a bit necessary, as the office is not air conditioned, and it was up to 33 today.
