In the doghouse

I was a bit naughty today. M took me out and when we were nearly out of the park on the way home I ran off. I am normally very good and don’t leave the person who is walking me.
We were near a golf course and I ran into the club house and ran around a bit before one the people grabbed me and put me on a lead. They have a spare lead there so I don’t think I am the first dog to go exploring. The lady used the number on my collar to phone my family and tell them where I was. M was still looking for me and had no idea where I was. I am sorry that he might have been a bit stressed. Someone in my family then phoned M to tell him where I was and he came to get me. I cried when I saw him. M apologised to the people in the golf club house, who were very good about it.
I really don’t know why I did this and better not do it again otherwise I won’t be allowed off the lead
