More Osprey...

The heat from yesterday combined with getting up to watch the thunderstorms in the early hours meant I felt a bit lethargic today. I gave my camera a rest as it's been very busy the last two days. Instead I swam, watched butterflies in my garden - no little whizzy that I saw today - visited my mum & did some shopping along with processing a few photos and binning quite a few. 

In my recent session at River Gwash Ospreys, osprey 28 fished very near the hide on all six dives - only on the last one did it catch a fish. He dived unbelievably close to the hide.- well he did, so it is actually believable if you see what I mean. In this pic I think it was making sure it had a good hold of the trout before taking off. Stunning bird!
