Last day...

...of her first school year.  Back to the street where I took yesterday's MM shot but today with a pop of colour.  For some of the children, this was, of course their last day at primary school.  To mark the occasion many of the boys donned red tutus and a fair amount of facepaint and quite splendid they looked too.  Less brave souls went for just something red.
When I took this phone shot at 8.40am it was relatively cool.  By the time we picked her up at 2pm my car was showing 41°c, admittedly in full sun!

The extra shows a shot I took for TinyTuesday, a bee busily working a callistemon flower, with good results by the look of it.
