1733. My Dad

My lovely sister in Australia was asking recently about my Dad’s service in the Royal Navy. So I’ve decided to request a copy of his service records which I understand as a next of kin that I can do. This is a photo of my Dad in the 1950’s in his naval uniform along with a hand written “wound” report when he fractured his collar bone playing football I think! The little bronze medal is for swimming as he was a great swimmer and also a champion high board diver. I don’t know why I’ve never done this before as he passed away in 2006 but now the time seems right....
