Two by two

Last week I found myself in conversation with a Dartmouth shopkeeper (not a craft shop!) where we got on to the subject of knitting. She shared a tip with me - perfect for baby-knits: two needles, two balls of yarn, two sleeves! And the advantage of knitting two sleeves side by side is that they are sure to end up the same length. Can't wait to get back to these sleeves, once my finger's further healed. It's improving slowly.

Sultry weather here, and around 27 degrees centigrade. Glad to be living on the west side of the country this hot week.
