snow sketch

When I first looked at the mountain range this morning it reminded me of a pencil sketch. Most of the trees in this shot are just blackened trunks due to the wildfire here this summer, so the dusting of snow makes them look like pencil strokes.
As scary and destructive as wildfires are, they are part of God's plan to bring new beginnings. And there is much beauty in new beginnings.
