Wildflowers by the Pond

Ellie and I went to story time at the library today, then we walked around the pond behind the building. It was a lovely day......a little overcast....a little warm.......no breeze......few birds, just a few odd ducks. Ellie was full of energy and she insisted on walking around the pond and then through the tunnel under the road.....I was sure she would take a long nap, but she woke up after only 40 minutes! We did cuddle & rock for another 30 minutes but then she was off and running again.

Tonight was the Tuesday market in the neighboring small town; they have a musical group every Tuesday night. There was also a car show and a dog show tonight. It was a hopping place with great attendance. The food trucks had long lines and about 200 hundred people set up chairs or blankets for the concert. It was very fun....we all enjoyed it a lot. I especially like going there because my son's family is there every week and our grandson (21 year old) loves Ellie and she loves him.....so I can completely relax because she is well entertained! It was a good day....but Ellie just went to bed and I need to get to bed too....good night.
