Faeries, dragons and unicorns

Unbelievably hot day, and succeeded in doing very little except some kitchen shop browsing in the morning and then took AR to the fairy workshop at the local garden centre. 4 young women were repeating (at half hourly intervals) a series of stories, games, stone painting and unicorn photographing activities ....and when I went with AR there were only 2 children being entertained! Don’t know how they did it, but AR enjoyed it and the ice lolly we got afterwards!
Chatted a bit to H when I dropped AR off, then back to K’s and sat in the shade in the garden and chatted.
Making no progress on holiday plans....to be honest I have no appetite to go somewhere even hotter than here!
Evening stayed really muggy....not really getting anything done!
