A Sideview

We drove home from our extended stay at the Jersey shore this morning. The Boardwalk performance on Saturday night was an energetic and engaging event, and the layover allowed Susan a few days to decompress from her father’s struggles. We were blessed with sunny, if not hotter then usual (mid-nineties) temperatures. The weather broke overnight and we drove home in very light rain with the temperatures dropping into the seventies. Lord, thank you for the ability to turn a work event into a mini-vacation.
