New Years Day 10km

New Years Day 2013. First ever blip photograph.

This was taken about 2km into a 10 km race organised by my running club in Norfolk, as the runners climbed the second hill on the course. What a great way to rid yourself of the excesses of Christmas....marshall a 10k race and watch others do the hard work, safe in the knowledge that I went out yesterday in the rain and the wind!!

Close to 500 runners took part and I suppose you could say it was easier than taking a dip in the Serpentine or a swim in the North Sea!
