Diggin'

A while ago our street was broken open and the sewage system was replaced. They've also replaced the asphalt with bricks. Now instead of finishing it all when the street was open, I think they've reopened parts of our street twice already for other jobs.
Today they were digging again in our sidewalk. I think they'll put in an extra street light, although they've left it open for now, so there is one big hole in our sidewalk. I don't understand the logic of the city council...
