Whimsy

A couple of years ago, one or two whimsical metal sculptures appeared on Stonehaven's shoreline. Since then a few others have appeared and until, very recently, no-one knew the identity of the sculptor, although a few local people had a good suspicion of who (s)he was. Earlier this year, the artist was unveiled as local man Jim Malcolm.

The sculptures themselves all have a nautical theme and contain a fascinating amount of detail, the whimsical part being that the 'characters' are all fish or crustaceans, rather than human. I've added two others as extras in addition to my main Blip.
