Lake Junaluska, NC

Lake Junaluska, NC is a small residential area and houses the offices and activities of the Southeastern Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church.  Chief Junaluska attempted to broker a peace agreement that would avoid the Trail of Tears by Cherokee Indians, but he was betrayed by the US Government.  It is less than 10 minutes from the dermatologist's office, and a place we lived for 7 years in the 1990's
