A peaceful Ullapool

Was sad to be leaving Lewis today but we will go back again as it’s a gorgeous place with friendly people.

Boarding the ferry was simple and spent the crossing in chatting with our friends, playing dominos or knitting do the time passed really quickly. Off the ferry for the long (less than 5 minutes really) drive to the campsite. Set up only took 20 minutes as we lucked out with a very flat pitch. Took advantage of the laundrette and the van is a bit like a Chinese laundry with the washing hanging inside as rain is forecast.

Beautiful still evening so after dinner we took a walk along the harbour.
