Social Night

We won both of our games today then it was a rush to get ready to go out to the social night that was arranged for the teams.  This band were excellent; most of the songs were British or American classics.  You wouldn't have known listening to them that we were in Germany and that was surprising as we were the only Scottish team in the competition. On the right of the shot is team Thune whom we have to play against at 8.15 tomorrow morning.  They are a strong team, father and son on the right are ex Danish senior and Junior champions.  We met them in Fussen at our first summer camp there in 2015.  They invited us to their 20th Anniversary competition in Gentofte, which we went to in September 2015 and have since been back two more times.  The gentleman on the left is from Monaco.  We met him in April when we were curling in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the capital city of the Basque region.  The 4th member of their team is a young Canadian, who is here to curl and also to coach the junior camp in Fussen next week.  I think we'll have a hard game tomorrow morning.
