Hedging and edging

My journey around garden attempting to catch up after enforced neglect continues.  Current activity is focused on edging the grass and trimming the hedges.  And there are lots of hedges.  It is a tedious task but t least the end result is readily apparent.  It does look more cared for.
I am being systematic and it might be a couple fo days before I get to the pond which is beoming overwhelmed by wilderness,  It will be a race to get there before the wilderness becomes permanent.  Meantime, caught this wee star in the pond.  No idea what it is thogh I must have put it there.
Looks like the weather will give me a day off tomorrow.
