The sunshine effect

It’s still about 20c tonight in the Granite City tonight after a daytime high of ~ 25c. Perhaps not the high readings of other parts of the country but for Aberdeen this counts as a scorcher.
It always interests me the effect of a bit of sun and heat on demand at the surgery. The last couple of days have been the quietest for us since the heatwave last year - we couldn’t give appointments away today and many surgeries had unhooked appointments. Not a normal occurrence but very welcome nonetheless. .
