Anyone would think I'd been roaming our local fields. Nobody would know we'd stopped in Eyemouth for a quick walk and photo before the downpours. You would have known, had I not found hundreds of these wonderful cinnabar moth caterpillars on a dog walk around the campsite. 

We're back in Scotland but, as tempting as returning to the Kyles of Bute was, I decided my luck was up with midges so we scrapped that tentative plan.

I remember old friend, Patrick, saying east coast Scotland was much less midgey. So here goes. I think the weather might create a testing environment so fingers crossed.
